While it is important to talk about the policies, mistakes and failures that have created the current crisis within OEV. It’s also vitally important that we take action to improve the area. OEV has so much to offer. I‘ve been spending extra time in the neighbourhood over the past several weeks enjoying some of those offerings. In this week’s Steve’s Reflections, I share some thoughts on a recent visit. In upcoming weeks, I’ll reflect on some of the current challenges; bringing in perspectives of some of the people who live and work in the neighbourhood.
