London secured $374,000,000 from other levels of government (largest ever, even to this day) for a BRT system that would provide lines going East, South, West and North with a couplet located within the downtown, linking the whole system together…Mike, for some reason this news item is ringing a bell for me :) Great summary. Enjoying your new project, very much!

Oh the memories. Community building where everyone has a view.

Oh to be right but not heard. It’s a tough one.

London is such an interesting city to be in. From what I’ve seen, cars are prioritized, but there are still potholes.

As for sidewalks, snow is plowed 1-2x a day, but there’s often still a heavy layer. Speaking of the winter, buses either come late or not at all.

Ironically, you can sometimes make a bus from the hour before (that came late) while also missing the one you intended to take (that came early).

Oh, and students report buses driving right past their stop daily.

Great city.

That’s all investment. They only plow to a certain level of service, which has been controversial. And the taxes are rising. Hmmm

Ah, the BRT - I was curious what was happening with this (if anything) so your update is very timely and appreciated!
