Great piece, Cedric and Mike. I was raised in what is now Ward 4, living on McNay from 1996 until moving in with my now wife in 2011. I even saw Independence Day in theatres at Huron Marketplace in July 1998! I can confirm that your average neighbourhood resident is just as friendly in that area as they are in my new hood of Wortley, and their only difference is their tax bracket. I also attended Montcalm '96 to '01 and it does not deserve its rep whatsoever, had zero issues and the staff went above and beyond to support kids with goals and amibitions in as many ways as they could.
That was a good read! My daughter lives in Ward 4, so when I’m in London, that’s where I stay. It’s a fantastic ward and I’m super excited to see Tom Cull running!
Great read. Thank you Mike an Cedric. My family settled in Ward 4 in 1996 and have called it home since then.
The only thing I would say: I am far from a chef. I was a small business owner in the downtown area for over 10 years and now I work as a Chief Operating Officer for a local company. I do love to cook however!

Thanks for the detailed reply! With Stoneybrook added, Ward 4 now has more in common with Ward 11, I think. And thanks for reading and subscribing!

Thanks, Mario. I think that’s in there more as commentary than for completeness, and I appreciate you adding to it.
Love the restaurant rec!
