As my great uncle drilled me decades ago, fewer is for things you can count (i.e., university grads); less is for things you can't count (grammatical correctness). Keep up the good work

Less/fewer is one of my own grammatical foci, and it’s also important to remember these posts take a relaxed approach to the English and try to stay conversational, so maybe some unusual things are ok. Sometimes I don’t even do punctuation, which is astonishing for me. The world is a strange place. 😊

There is a difference between colloquial English & ''proper'' English, for sure, for sure, for sure. And, yes, understand and completely agree you want a conversational tone. It is simply that I am a believer that clear communication is the secret to a happy marriage, world peace, etc., and so I like the little niceties that give more meaning and aid precise understanding.
